Two products under one roof. For studying: 1,187 original practice questions for the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN — every one triple-checked — with practice by topic, timed exams, flashcards, and study mode. For faculty: the authoring toolkit — Question Studio, personal question libraries, assignments, item analytics, question review, and the Nick Item-Writing Academy — faculty run it, students see only what's assigned to them. And Nick, an AI copilot, on every page.

The question bank, in numbers
Every question passed the same gauntlet: written fresh for this site, checked by its author, then solved cold — twice — by independent reviewers who committed to an answer before ever seeing the key. A question only ships when both solvers agree with the key and neither can defend another option. Anything that fails waits in an expert-review queue; it is never quietly shipped and never padded into the count. Flagged or under-review items are never drawn for practice. As students answer, each question builds a live record — difficulty, discrimination, which wrong answers pull hardest — and anything that misbehaves gets flagged for human review, never auto-deleted.
The bank keeps growing. A good NCLEX question takes a nursing educator hours to write — and longer to get right. SI drafts new questions on a regular cadence, and every one runs the same gauntlet before it reaches you. Your practice never goes stale.
For students · product one
The question bank is the student's product: 1,187 original questions, practice by topic, and timed exams — yours to work through at your own pace.
NCLEX-RN/PN across all eight Client Needs categories — full study banks plus timed NCLEX-style practice blocks. Every question original, every one triple-checked.
Open the banks →Full practice exams with a live timer, instant scoring, and per-question review with explanations. Faculty can build and publish their own exams with pass marks and access codes.
Take an exam →Quick-fire rounds by count, by time box, or endless — by Client Needs category or mixed. Beat the clock, retry your misses, and ask Nick to explain any card you got wrong.
Play a round →Spaced repetition that runs itself — daily 20-card sessions mix due-for-review cards, your weakest topics, and new material. Your schedule lives on your device.
Start studying →How the NCLEX actually works, the Next Generation item types, test strategies — plus guided 4-week and 8-week study plans that Nick coaches you through day by day.
Learn the exam →Nursing-school admissions interviews and new-grad RN job interviews: formats, the question categories that actually get asked, and timed mock interviews with Nick.
Prepare →The NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) is the nationwide examination nursing graduates must pass to earn a nursing license — the NCLEX-RN for registered nurses and the NCLEX-PN for practical/vocational nurses. It is developed and owned by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and delivered by Pearson VUE in a computerized adaptive format, testing the knowledge, skills, and judgment needed for safe entry-level practice.
Our read: everything on this site is unofficial practice material — original questions written for SI Nursing, not the official exam. For authoritative exam details, start with NCSBN.
Next Generation NCLEX, covered. The bank includes NGN-style item types alongside traditional multiple choice: select-all-that-apply and trend questions (exact-match scoring — all correct selections required, no partial credit), plus bow-tie and cloze items with one dropdown per blank (every blank must be correct). Flagged or under-review items are never drawn.
The NCLEX test plan organizes content into eight Client Needs categories — Management of Care, Safety and Infection Control, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Psychosocial Integrity, Basic Care and Comfort, Pharmacological and Parenteral Therapies, Reduction of Risk Potential, and Physiological Adaptation. Every category gets its own study bank and timed practice block in Exam Admin.
For faculty · the authoring tools
The bank's faculty side: draft original questions one at a time with Nick, keep your own library, build assignments, and see exactly how every question performs.
Who sees what: faculty run the toolkit — they author, assign, and analyze. Students see only what's assigned to them: their own exams, assignments, and results.
Draft original NCLEX-style questions one at a time with Nick — every one triple-checked. Or paste your own finished question and get three independent reviews with coaching.
Open the studio →Import questions from your own personal bank, manage them here, use them in assignments — and optionally contribute them for SI-bank review.
Open your library →Build an assignment from the bank or your own questions, share a short code — only students who enter the code see it. Completion receipts come back to you.
Create an assignment →Difficulty, discrimination, distractor analysis, most-missed rankings — per question, per exam, per cohort. A misbehaving item is flagged for your review; the system recommends, you decide.
See analytics →Review bank questions side by side with Nick — he cold-solves each one and critiques it; your verdicts teach him your standards.
Review questions →Most nursing faculty were never taught to write exam questions. The Academy fixes that: sixteen NCLEX modules across item craft, NGN formats, clinical judgment, and quality at scale.
Enter the academy →Meet Nick
For students, Nick explains the questions you miss, coaches your study plan day by day, and drills you on NGN item types. For faculty, he drafts and reviews questions, answers item-writing questions from the actual NCLEX test plan, and helps you read your analytics.
